On April 16th, the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship will host Opportunity To Serve, our third annual statewide day of service, in conjunction with Global Youth Service Day.
This is not your average service project. The day will showcase all of the amazing work done by Fellows across the Commonwealth with 5 service projects going on simultaneously in Boston, Brockton, Cambridge, Lynn, and Worcester. These projects were selected through a competitive RFP process, with proposals that were co-written by youth and reviewed by our Youth Board to ensure that the projects address the needs of young people in their individual communities and, above all, are fun!
The 5 service projects will feature something for everyone: mural painting in Brockton, gardening in Dorchester and Lynn, food preparation in Cambridge, workshops in Roxbury, and a festival in Worcester.
